The Anti-death Penalty Asia Network (ADPAN) is an independent informal network committed to working for the abolition of the Death Penalty within the Asia Pacific Region. The network is not linked to any political party or religion and is independent of all governments. 37 members include NGOs, lawyers, parliamentarians and activists from 21 countries:

Australia, Hong Kong, Fiji, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea (South), Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Tonga, UK, USA.


The Anti-death Penalty Asia Network (ADPAN) was set up in Hong Kong following a Consultative Meeting organized by Amnesty International in July 2006 and officially launched throughout the Asia Pacific Region on World Day Against the Death Penalty, 10 October 2006. >>> statement of the ADPAN
