Transcript of the video:

My experience really comes from being a lawyer and seeing the way the court works, and in that sense my general belief is that the court is inherently bias. The court's legal processes are inherently flawed and bias, and works against people who are already marginalized in society. I also believe that most Indians are willing to believe that the criminal justice system is flawed, so that is a very convincing argument as well. For me personally, just watching how the system works, watching how many mistakes are made I can't have faith in that system toward death sentences. It is bad enough for that system to put people in jail, but at least with that we can find, we can get them out, if they are going to be hanging people after such flawed trials it is a very big concern. That does not mean that if, even theoretically, all the trials could be perfect I would support DP. Of course not. I am just saying that this is to me the biggest reason why in India we have to abolish death penalty.
