Radfan Razaz
Radfan Razaz Khalid Hassan, a possible child offender, is at risk of imminent execution in connection with the murder of Abdulhakim Muhammad Farhan who was killed in March 2003. Initially Radfan was sentenced by al-Salam court of first instance in Tai’z and condemned to six years’ imprisonment and payment of diya (compensation) to relatives of the murder victim. The court, which issued its ruling in July 2004, did not sentence Radfan to death on the basis that he was below 18 years of age.
